Role Overview :
You will provide strong competencies leading the People & Culture function across our ASEAN region (Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore and Japan), focusing on the employee experience. You will have the chance to impact the end-to-end employee experience through new hire onboarding, talent development, performance management, succession planning, rewards and recognition and employee retention.
Your deep understanding of the regional nuances together with your ability to align the People & Culture deliverables with the firm’s business objectives will be pivotal. Your experience will enable you to work independently on strategic P&C initiatives with the ability to effectively manage the operational deliverables.
As a trusted partner, you will excel at the following:
Advocate a great place to work culture
Support and execute the People & Culture strategy with a strong understanding of the business goals
Operational delivery of all key people activities throughout the employee life cycle; including but not limited to: onboarding, performance management, compensation & benefits, recognition, career development, succession planning and employee retention.
Ensure compliance with employment laws across each country, proactively managing regulatory and operational risks
Act as a strategic advisor to the ASEAN leaders, defining the people roadmap and actively contributing to the strategic direction of the region
Define and track People & Culture measures of success and manage annual programs including employee engagement surveys
Cross geographical knowledge of employment law, payroll and benefits
Be an enabler of the business core values and mission critical behaviors
What You Will Bring To The Role
A relevant Bachelor’s degree in HR
At least 8 years’ experience leading an HR function within an agile, fast-paced consulting firm.
Experience of having worked on HR functions in at least one other ASEAN location
A people-centric approach to enabling employee success
Effective verbal and written communication capabilities
Demonstrated ability to consult, collaborate with and advise internal stakeholders, through trusted business relationships
Strong focus on outcomes and delivering value
Proven ability to interpret data and make decisions without all information being available
Strong user skill in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of trust and confidentiality
