Position Summary
Act as a strategic partner to the company’s internal departments, providing legal advisory support with a focus on national and international contracts, compliance, and corporate governance.
The role involves strong interaction with legal matters across Latin America, with occasional collaboration with professionals from other regions.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including international agreements
Issue legal opinions and conduct contractual risk assessments
Provide legal support to departments such as procurement, sales, HR, and operations
Participate in meetings with clients and suppliers
Monitor legislative updates and ensure regulatory compliance
Contribute to internal training sessions on contractual policies and compliance
Handle matters related to intellectual property and environmental law (when applicable)
Job requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Law
Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
Postgraduate degree or MBA in Corporate Law, Contract Law, or related fields (desirable)
Previous experience in multinational companies
Advanced English (mandatory); Spanish ( intermediate)
Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills
