Your Impact at dss+

You will contribute to high-impact client engagements, working closely with project teams and clients to solve complex operational challenges across safety, operational excellence, and sustainability. You will take ownership of key workstreams, helping clients implement practical solutions that deliver measurable and lasting impact.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the delivery of consulting engagements across operational risk and safety programmes

  • Lead defined workstreams and contribute to the successful execution of client projects

  • Conduct behavioural safety assessments and support safety culture improvement initiatives

  • Facilitate safe work practice reviews and observations

  • Conduct risk assessments and critical risk reviews

  • Support BowTie analysis workshops and risk management activities

  • Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis processes

  • Deliver Safety Observation System (SOS) activities with frontline leaders and supervisors

  • Develop presentations, reports, and recommendations for client engagements

  • Work directly with clients to support implementation of practical solutions

Who You Are

You bring strong analytical thinking, a curious mindset, and the ability to work effectively in diverse, international environments. You are comfortable engaging with stakeholders, solving complex problems, and contributing to meaningful outcomes.

Experience

  • Experience in management consulting or a relevant industry environment

  • Exposure to operational excellence, operational risk, safety, or sustainability initiatives

  • Experience contributing to project teams or leading defined workstreams

  • Ideally 5+ years of experience within manufacturing, infrastructure, construction, industrial or high-risk environments

  • Experience supporting behavioural safety and risk management initiatives

Capabilities

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multicultural environments

  • Comfortable working directly with clients and stakeholders

  • Adaptable and able to thrive in fast-paced project environments

  • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and BowTie analysis

  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Ability to influence behavioural change and safety performance

Education & Languages

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Business, or related field

  • Fluency in English required

  • Portuguese required

Mobility

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
