About dss+
At dss+, you don’t just deliver projects - you help save lives, improve performance, and build a more sustainable future.
We are a purpose-led global consultancy working with asset-intensive and high-risk industries to solve complex operational challenges across performance, risk, and sustainability.
Our approach combines deep operational expertise with practical implementation, enabling Private Equity clients and their portfolio companies to deliver measurable and sustainable results.
Why This Role
This role focuses on supporting Private Equity clients across the full investment lifecycle, from due diligence through to post-acquisition value creation.
As a Manager, you will work directly with Private Equity funds and portfolio company management teams to identify value drivers, assess operational performance, and support delivery of transformation initiatives.
You will operate in a high-performance, time-sensitive environment, where clear analysis, strong execution, and credibility with senior stakeholders are critical. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth of dss+’s Private Equity business in Japan and across APAC.
Why This Industry – Private Equity & Principal Investors
Private Equity firms require rapid, data-driven insights and practical execution to drive value across their portfolios.
At dss+, we partner with investors to support key investment decisions and deliver operational improvements. Our work spans operational due diligence, post-merger integration, performance improvement, and sustainability initiatives, with a clear focus on value creation.
This role provides exposure to multiple sectors and transactions, working with both investment teams and portfolio company leadership.
Your Impact at dss+
You will contribute to high-impact engagements supporting Private Equity clients and portfolio companies across Japan and APAC.
Key responsibilities:

Identify key value drivers and operational risks, translating analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
Work closely with portfolio company management teams to support execution of improvement initiatives.
Apply structured project management and PMO disciplines to ensure delivery against tight timelines.
Engage with Private Equity stakeholders, maintaining a professional and credible client presence.
Support development of proposals and contribute to growing relationships with PE clients.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, risk, sustainability) to deliver integrated solutions.
Contribute to the development of dss+’s Private Equity capabilities and market presence.
