As a freelance expert in Operations within the Mining & Metals industry, your expertise will be vital in helping us protect people, assets, and the environment - making you an essential part of our mission.

Does this sound like you?

As an experienced translator and interpreter, you will be fluent in both Korean and English, with a proven track record of working on complex projects, translating technical documents and training materials, and working on-site with clients as an effective interpreter.

Key responsibilities include:

• Translating a range of dss+ training material and reports to be shared with clients, whilst translating client documents accurately to support the delivery of dss+ solutions

• Working on site in manufacturing and hazardous environments as the translator for the dss+ team and clients

As a freelance translator

• You will have extensive experience in translating complex technical documents from Korean to English and English to Korean.

• You will have a proven track record of translating during in-person meetings, supporting English speakers in navigating the cultural and technical aspects of important client interactions.

• You will be fluent in both English and Korean, able to work in both languages at a technical and professional level.

• You will be a freelancer, contractor, or someone immediately available to take on interim assignments and work up to 5 days per week on client sites, which will involve travel across South Korea for extended periods of time.
