As a leading operations transformation partner, dss+ is now is seeking a dynamic and proactive Internal Communications Lead. This role is crucial in enhancing employee experience and business awareness through effective communication strategies, fostering collaboration, and enabling our teams to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment. The ideal candidate will be business focused, proactive and agile with a passion for driving engaging and impactful, innovative communication initiatives. The candidate will work closely with consulting and functional departments to ensure consistent and effective knowledge sharing and engagement throughout the organisation.

Reporting to the Global Communications Director, the role will sit in the Marketing, Communications and Sales Enablement function. The role is expected to work closely with leadership and colleagues across the business in industry, practice solutions and functions at both global and market level.  The role will also work closely with capability development, people & culture, recruiting and knowledge management teams.

This is a remote working role with the employee to be based in London, UK.

Role responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and Implement Communication Strategies: Design and execute comprehensive internal communication plans that align with dss+ goals, strategy and values.

  • Coordinate Awareness and Activation Campaigns: Coordinate a structured cascade of awareness-raising initiatives for global offerings, intellectual property, and assets. E.g. Digital, Safety, Operations

  • Lead Global Town Halls and Announcements: Organise and manage global town hall meetings and global announcements to ensure clear and consistent communication across the organisation.

  • Content Creation: Work with global teams to produce high-quality content for case studies, internal emails/stories, announcements, and other communication channels.

  • Enhance Employee Experience: Lead initiatives to improve employee experience across internal platforms and channels, ensuring a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

  • Gather Feedback and Improvement: Gather employee feedback and continuously improve communication practices, content and channels to meet the evolving needs of the firm.

  • Coordinate Internal Events: Organise and manage internal events, meetings, and webinars to foster engagement and collaboration.

  • Execute Special Projects: Develop and manage special communication projects as needed such as dss+ Alumni Programme to maintain strong connections with former employees.

  • Measure Effectiveness:   Measure effectiveness of internal communications from a content, comprehension and engagement perspective.

Job requirements

Who are you today?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in internal communications or related roles.

  • Previous consulting or B2B communication experience preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Native English speaker.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams and with senior stakeholders.

  • Proactive, innovative and dynamic approach to problem-solving and project management.

  • Experience in a global or multicultural environment.

  • Proficiency in communication tools and platforms.
