Why This Role
As dss+ continues to expand its presence in Greece, we are looking for a Senior Consultant to support leading organisations across industrial, energy, infrastructure, and asset-intensive sectors.
This role focuses on delivering high-quality outcomes through deep expertise in operational risk management, safety, and operational improvement. You will play a key role in leading technical workstreams, solving complex operational challenges, and helping clients strengthen resilience and performance.
This is an opportunity to work closely with senior client stakeholders while contributing to meaningful transformation programmes across Greece and the wider region.

Key Responsibilities
Lead technical or specialist workstreams within consulting engagements
Deliver operational risk management, safety, and performance improvement initiatives
Facilitate workshops, assessments, and stakeholder discussions with clients
Analyse operational risks, systems, and improvement opportunities across industrial environments
Support the design and implementation of practical and sustainable improvement solutions
Mentor and support junior consultants and project teams
Contribute to capability development, methodologies, and knowledge sharing across dss+
Support proposal development and client engagement activities across the region
This role is based in Greece (from your home office) and requires frequent client travel, up to four days per week.

Job requirements
Who You Are
You bring strong analytical thinking, a curious mindset, and the ability to work effectively in diverse, international environments. You are comfortable engaging with stakeholders, solving complex problems, and contributing to meaningful outcomes.
Experience
Experience within management consulting or industrial operations environments
Deep expertise in Operational Risk Management / HSE within an industrial environment
Experience leading workstreams and managing client-facing activities
Knowledge of operational challenges within high-risk or asset-intensive industries
Experience in sectors such as energy, power & utilities, chemicals, infrastructure, manufacturing, or mining is advantageous
Capabilities
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving capability
Ability to lead workshops, assessments, and stakeholder discussions
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in multicultural environments
Ability to guide teams and contribute to capability development
Education & Languages
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering and/or a Safety related field is required
Fluency in Greek and English is required, additional European languages are an advantage
Mobility
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (up to 4 days a week)
