Job description

As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for developing a strategy for a world-leading company in the global electronics value chain.

This will involve, among other tasks, the following:

  • Structure complex business challenges using bespoke strategy consulting frameworks and take action to provide solutions.

  • Drive proactively towards the solutions, by actively connecting with stakeholders and prioritizing workstreams.

  • Synthesize clear takeaways and recommendations using both consultative and research findings.

  • Understand and incorporate business context when analysing/presenting findings.

  • Establish trust-based relationships with clients to better serve their organizations. Build positive, trusting relationship with colleagues from client business, understanding their needs, priorities, and ideas.

  • Strong problem-solving orientation; understand the ask and proactively work towards solution.

  • Analysing large data sets, finding patterns, and providing a concise summary.

  • Preparation of bespoke analysis for strategic initiatives.

  • Keeping track of numerous market indicators and preparing periodic business review reports for global leadership.

  • Working across multiple workstreams and be able to switch gears if there is a higher priority task at hand.

  • Able to clearly communicate task and delegate work in project settings.

  • Help other team members grow and improve problem-solving and communication skills.

Job requirements

Education and experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in strategy consulting. Experience in top-tier strategy consulting is welcomed but not must.

  • Experience in electronics industry (electronics materials, chip and PCB fabricators, electronic OEMs etc) is welcomed but not a must.

  • Post graduation in management in any discipline (business administration, marketing, finance) is welcomed but not a must.

 Working style

  • Work well independently as well as a team player.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team, and service-oriented environment.

  • Deliver outcomes with quality, accuracy, and strong attention to detail; ability to prioritize and multi-task. Good aesthetic taste in PowerPoint, skilled with spreadsheets, prioritized but thorough.

  • Demonstrate accountability with growth mindset and agile approach to projects.

  • Flexibility to work remotely, hybrid and from office location.

  • Should be open to travel (domestic and international) on client engagements.

  • Ability to understand industry segments, adjacencies, end-markets, and applications.

  • Strong understanding of products, end-markets, market trends regarding growth rates, inventory levels, utilization rates and their impact on value chain players.

  • Ability to thread various market trends and articulate relevant business impacts.

  • Exposure to working with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, D&B, Capital IQ, ThinkCell, Alphasense, Power BI, Tableau, AI based tools (like ChatGPT).
