Responsibilities:

As a Senior Consultant with 6 to 10 years relevant experience in sustainability related field, your mission is to lead projects to advise decision-makers in their Sustainability strategies on the basis of international sustainability benchmarks, frameworks, and standard, robust science-based methodologies, ESG frameworks and metrics, alongside understanding of the business and stakeholder context.

• Support the development and delivery of sustainability services such as ESG due diligence, ESG materiality Assessments, GHG accounting, impact analysis and sustainability strategy
• Possess knowledge of regional and international sustainability benchmarks, frameworks, and standards such as IFC, SASB, GRI, CDP, Taskforce for Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) and Science-based Target Initiative (SBTi).
• Lead client engagements with excellent standards of quality and relationship management to become a long-term trusted advisor for our clients
• Experience working in multiple industries and working in other Asian nations

You will lead specific workstreams aiming at identifying, designing, and implementing effective solutions within your area of expertise. You will provide subject matter expertise and lead project teams to help clients establishing and implementing robust programs and, in particular, building organizational capabilities to sustain performance.

Additionally, playing an active role in building the firm by:

• Participating and contributing to functional and/or industry networks with the aim of developing and sharing best practices.
• Providing feedback and coaching junior colleagues to support their development within the organization.
• Developing and / or enhancing existing IP in the relevant field of expertise.

• Actively pushing the boundaries in digitalization, to ensure that we continue to integrate digital to our sustainability, decarbonization and circular solutions.

Your Capabilities

• You are proficient with various sustainability and ESG frameworks, such as IFC, SDGs, GRI, UN Global compact, CDP, TCFD etc.
• You have experience conducting ESG due diligence across multiple industry sectors and geographies
• You have a strong experience in developing materiality assessments and in driving and facilitating the stakeholder process to establish the materiality matrix of a client
• You have a demonstrated experience in advising organizations with their ESG strategy and implementation roadmaps
• You are experienced with developing business / value cases and supporting the development and integration of sustainability models and solutions
• You are involved and connected with the community of practitioners in the field of sustainability and ESG.

• You have been involved in formulating environmental sustainability strategy for clients, with a track record in sustainability plan development and implementation
• You enjoy a client-facing role with proven track record in managing projects and clients.
• You are agile and collaborative, leveraging expertise from others when needed.
• You are a versatile, quick thinker and show willingness and ability to pick up new concepts quickly.
• You are strong in numerical, analytical thinking skills and detailed-oriented
• You possess excellent verbal & written communication skills in English

Qualifications / Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Environmental Science or Management, Engineering or other academic field relevant to sustainability; MBA or MS preferred
• 6 to 10 years relevant experience in sustainability either in consulting or in-house – position will match level of experience
• Track record in one or several of the following sectors is a plus: Mining, Manufacturing, Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Consumer industries, Utilities, transportation systems, Food & beverage, agro-food.
• Have awareness and experience in the concepts and application of relevant international frameworks e.g., GRI, SASB, ISO14001, GHG Protocol principles, SBTi, TCFD. Training or certification in implementing such frameworks is a plus.
• Can develop relevant recommendations and solutions to enhance the management of sustainability risk in a range of formats including reports, presentations and workshops both in-person and virtually
• Can provide professional advice to clients in developing and adjusting project approaches, methodology and tools to guide risk programs and initiatives
• Have exceptional interpersonal skills and team-working attitude to be able to work in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Possess high level of proficiency with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Fluent in both written and spoken English, other language will be a plus.
