You will lead client engagements end-to-end — combining business development, strategic advisory, and delivery leadership — while building trusted relationships with senior executives and shaping long-term partnerships across the industry.

Your Impact at dss+
You will lead transformation programmes across Mining & Metals clients in Mexico while playing a key role in expanding our market presence and growing client relationships.
You will operate across the full lifecycle — from opportunity identification and commercial development to delivery execution — ensuring high-quality outcomes, strong client trust, and measurable business impact.
Key Accountabilities
Lead consulting teams and manage delivery across complex transformation programmes
Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with C-level executives
Drive business development activities, including opportunity identification, pipeline management, and closing consulting engagements
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Mining & Metals sector
Structure project scope, objectives, deliverables, and resources in collaboration with clients and internal teams
Engage executive stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective implementation of solutions
Anticipate project risks and challenges, ensuring proactive mitigation and strong governance
Expand existing accounts by identifying new opportunities and long-term partnerships
Maintain active involvement in delivery to ensure quality, impact, and client satisfaction

Who You Are
You bring strong commercial acumen, deep industry expertise, and the ability to operate effectively in complex, high-impact environments. You are comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, leading teams, and delivering measurable outcomes.
Experience
Experience in management consulting, ideally within the Mining & Metals sector
Proven track record delivering and managing complex transformation engagements
Strong experience in business development, including prospecting, selling, and closing consulting work
Experience selling and delivering strategic solutions within Mining & Metals in Latin America
Deep understanding of industry trends, operational challenges, and business models
Capabilities
Strong leadership and stakeholder management capability
Ability to lead complex negotiations and influence executive decision-making
Strategic and consultative mindset, with the ability to shape high-level client discussions
Expertise across operational risk, operational excellence, supply chain, digital transformation, asset management, and sustainability
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Education & Languages
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
MBA or postgraduate degree preferred
Fluency in English required
Portuguese is a plus
Mobility
Willingness to travel frequently (up to ~50%) within the country and across the region
