What will you do?
This role will be responsible for managing recruitment operationally within our China market to identify, attract and engage talented people to support our growth strategy. You will work as part of a small team of experienced Talent Acquisition Specialists and work with our regional HR team to understand the talent needs and ensure we build a robust talent pipeline for today and our future. You will be hands-on, providing our regional business teams with end-to-end recruitment services. You will enable the growth of dss+ Employer Brand, considering our unique position in operations consulting.
· Champion of Employer Branding: As a dedicated steward of the dss+ Employer Brand, you will craft and deploy strategies that resonate with exceptional talent, conveying our organization's culture, values, and unique value proposition
· Act as a subject matter expert to design, develop and execute recruitment strategies that deliver against the resourcing business plan
· Serve as a trusted partner to DSS leaders and the HR team on the talent pipeline, recruitment metrics and forward-looking indicators to support our talent selection process.

· Define best practice recruitment models aligned with the DSS business strategy and business priorities.
In this role, you will:
· Collaborate closely with China hiring managers and business leaders to understand their talent needs, team dynamics, and strategic goals.
· Develop and execute effective talent acquisition strategies that encompass employer branding, candidate sourcing, assessment, and selection.
· Spearhead the employer branding initiatives by creating compelling content, including videos, blog posts, social media campaigns, and other relevant materials to showcase the company's culture, values, and opportunities.
· Help manage and maintain our online presence on various platforms (such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, company website) to ensure a consistent and positive employer brand image.
· Identify innovative ways to differentiate the organization in the competitive job market, showcasing our unique employee value proposition.
· Collaborate with the Marketing team to align employer branding efforts with overall corporate branding and messaging.
· Lead candidate sourcing efforts through various channels, such as job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals, to build a robust talent pipeline.
· Conduct thorough candidate assessments, interviews, and evaluations to identify the best-fit candidates for open positions.
· Provide an exceptional candidate experience by ensuring transparent communication, timely feedback, and a smooth recruitment process.
· Manage senior search assignments, engaging directly with C-suite and leadership candidates, maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and confidentiality.
· Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards on recruitment metrics, analyzing data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve recruitment strategies.
· Act as a strategic business partner, collaborating with department heads to understand their long-term talent needs and align recruitment strategies accordingly.
· Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition, employer branding, and operational effectiveness, and apply them to our recruitment processes.
Who are you?
You are passionate about identifying and sourcing new talent in a dynamic, consulting context. You have demonstrated experience designing recruitment strategies in a professional services organisation (preferably Management Consultancy) with a successful track record as a true collaborator and implementer. You’re comfortable with ambiguity, being able to deliver tangible outcomes and interacting with stakeholders across the organisation.
To be successful, you’ll have:
· Proven experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on the China market
· Experience of having worked in a Management Consultancy preferred
· A good understanding of employer branding strategies and their impact on attracting top talent. Advanced experience in direct sourcing.
· Proficiency in using various recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and social media platforms for sourcing and branding efforts.
· Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
· Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously
· A creative thinker who can innovate and adapt to changing market dynamics
· Demonstrated capability as a hands on, end to end recruiter with an established candidate network, ideally in operations consulting
· Demonstrated experience designing recruitment metrics to support
· Strong strategic thinking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to change priorities as needed
· Above all, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing consulting environment
· Fluency in English and Mandarin essential.
